The Yoga Within - ...for your body, and more.

Svaroopa® Yoga

Svaroopa is a Sanskrit word meaning "the bliss of your own being".

This restorative and gentle style of yoga is unlike any other you may experience. It is one that most students find easy to learn, easy to practice, and easy to love because of its calming effect and ability to not only release the deeper core tensions of the body in a fully supported manner, but to also open up the consciousness of the mind.

Svaroopa® Yoga is a style of Hatha Yoga based on ancient yogic texts. It was founded by Swami Nirmalananda Saraswati, the founding President of Yoga Alliance (under the name Rama Berch at the time). Rama created and directed the yoga program for Deepak Chopra at the Chopra Center in the 1990's - utilizing the revolutionary approach to yoga that she developed in the two decades prior while under the tutelage of her Guru, Swami Muktananda.

Svaroopa® Yoga, one of the primary styles of yoga in America, is known for its compassionate approach to profoundly transformative work with the body, mind and emotions. It is widely recognized as a powerful tool for promoting healing and personal transformation, as well as opening inner levels of transcendent experience.

Classes and therapy sessions are effective for adult students of all ages and levels of yoga experience. No experience? No problem!  Come try Svaroopa® and find what you've been looking for - the Bliss of your own being.
